The OEM Alpha IP Multi-IO Box (MIOB) serves for the functional extension of the Alpha IP indoor environment solution for surface heating.

This extension can increase the energy efficiency and the comfort, but also the safety of the room-by-room temperature control system. The MIOB offers several connection options for the demand-oriented and energy-efficient operation of pumps and boilers, for the change-over between heating and cooling operation, for dew point monitoring, dehumidifier control, and overtemperature limitation in the overall system.

Installation is performed flexibly and freely placeable on the wall by screws or on DIN rail.

The Alpha IP Base Station Radio 24 V with 6 zones are intelligent control and connection units of a surface heating system for the central processing of information and communication with all system components. They register and utilise a huge amount of meas- uring data for the individual, energy-efficient temperature control in every room as well as for maximum user comfort.

This system is perfectly suitable for the new construction of detached and multi-family houses as well as retrofit solution for refurbishment.

For this, the 868 MHz radio technology ensures a safe, bi-directional communication of the allocated room control devices, Base Stations and connected valve drives, all this with a minimum of radio load.

The Alpha IP Smoke Alarm monitors a room for smoke emissions. Operation of the device is based on the photoelectric scattered light principle. This enables a fire to be detected at an early stage and a warning to be given in good time that dangerous smoke gases are present. When an alarm has been triggered, the integrated siren sounds and the warning LED will start to flash red. A white LED acts as emergency lighting for easy orientation also in the event of power failure.
